Relay FTW requires hardware running Wear OS 3.0 or greater. This version of Wear OS allows for the high-performance Bluetooth communication required to relay signals instantly on the field.

Critical Compatibility Note

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and older models (Watch Active 2, Gear S3) run on "Tizen OS" and are NOT supported by Relay FTW.

Unsupported Hardware

These devices do not have the software architecture required to run the Relay FTW receiver app.

  • All Apple Watches (iOS is not compatible)

Hardware Tips for Coaches

Battery Management

For long tournament days, we recommend the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or Galaxy Watch Ultra. They offer the best battery life for constant Bluetooth use.
